Data, graphical representation, and analysis are very good.
Stats are weIl done but I cannot find the number of animals per group. The legend states 6-10. So, almost twice as many in some groups. Which ones? Add this to the figure, e.g. white square Sham+V (n=6). This is really the only qualm I have with an otherwise 9/10 technical level of your research.
Ideally, one should be able to understand a figure without digging deep into the legend. This is not the case here, since the abbreviation V appears out of nowhere and is not even explained in the legend. So, does OVX but at least readers are more likely to guess correctly. Please add labels directly to the image file. I'd also personally prefer numbers instead of stars since they mean very different things depending on the publication. *=5% here but 1% in other studies.
Dark purple circles and black rectangles are very difficult to tell apart at lower magnifications of the figure. Changing the purple circles to a lighter color would remedy that.
Some readers will be confused about what is compared with what. Take 1C for example. Many will expect the 1st bar to be the one that others are compared to rather than the OVX+V. If you added brackets above the bars it would be clearer.
In my online view of the draft the legend is truncated at :"..***P". 4 stars remains unexplained in the legend. Please amend.
